Fourth of July
Fireworks At The Beach

I think one of the best ways to see Fourth of July fireworks is at the beach. Nothing beats watching fireworks at the beach. A million little colorful sparks in bigger-than-life patterns etched for a moment onto the vast night sky before fading away and another one takes its place. The rhythmic sound of the ocean waves mingling with the rock music and cheers from the crowd.

Wow!

We’ve been to the Lauderdale-by-the-Sea celebration and it was one of the best July Fourth memories I’ve had.

Here’s a list of beaches in the Fort Lauderdale area that every year host Independence Day festivities. Some of them have fireworks events. Remember to be safe and have a ton of fun!

Deerfield Beach
July Fourth Celebration on the beach is actually going to be held over two days (July 3-4) with concerts, activities for the kids and the fireworks display at 9 pm on July 4.

Pompano Beach
Fireworks Extravaganza takes place at Pompano Main Public beach at Atlantic Boulevard and A1A. Fireworks start at 9 pm and can be viewed north and south of the pier.

Lauderdale-By-the-Sea Beach
The city’s celebrations starts with a parade at 10 am then there’s the Beach Blast Celebration from 11 am – 3 pm with lots of activities for kids to participate in. The lovely fireworks show is slotted to begin at 8:30 pm.

Fort Lauderdale Beach

Dania Beach
This year, the city of Dania Beach will celebrate on July 3rd with A Salute to Our American Heroes celebration. According to the city’s website, the celebration will feature sports cards, memorabilia, toys and comic book show, hot dog eating contest and a dunk tank. It doesn’t look like they will have fireworks this year.

Hollywood Beach
Celebrate the red, white and blue with the Hometown Fourth of July Celebration at Hollywood Beach, 12 pm – 9 pm at the Hollywood Broadwalk on the beach. Music, limbo and a Little Miss Firecracker contest for girls 5-9 years old. Fireworks are scheduled at 9 pm.

Hallandale Beach
Hallandale Beach Celebrates America on July 3rd this year with a Family Fun Zone Beach Bash from from 11 am – 4 pm at the South City Beach area on A1A south of Hallandale Beach Boulevard. No information about fireworks display on their flyer.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!!
